USB Tester
Provides a reading of the charging voltage and current from USB ports, whether it's a wall charger port for a mobile, a car charging port, a portable power bank charging port, or a computer... This reading helps you identify charging problems caused by ports, cables, or chargers, and even identify cables and chargers that support fast charging...
You can test and sort out bad cables and charging ports at home or in the car, and maintain your mobile's normal charging when you notice slow charging, the charger is no longer charging, or no longer supports fast charging, or the mobile heats up during charging.
Reading the screen codes and their meanings:
◾V / Voltage output from the source
◾A / Amperage the device draws from the charger
◾T / Time since the device was connected to the charger
◾mAh / Milliampere-hours, the energy consumed by the device
📗 The following readings are normal and ideal:
◾ Charging from a computer port:
Normal 5.0 to 4.8 volts - Amperage 0.5 to 0.4 (slow charging)
◾ Normal wall charger 5V / 1A:
Normal 5.1 to 4.9 volts - Amperage 1.0 to 0.8 (slow to medium charging)
◾ Fast wall charger 5V2A:
Normal 5.0 to 5.1 volts - Amperage 2.4 to 1.5 (fast charging)
📙 Notice if the voltage reading is:
Less than 4.5 volts: the cable is bad or too long ❌
Current less than 0.5 amps despite the charger being good: the cable or USB port is weak ❌
Device not charging at all: the cable is broken or the charger is damaged ❌
