The "Trusted Purchase" service allows both the buyer and seller to engage an escrow company that facilitates, safeguards, and manages the transaction between them. This includes receiving the payment from the buyer, coordinating the shipping process, and ensuring the payment is released to the seller once the buyer confirms receipt—unless a dispute is raised.
Seller (First Party): The individual who owns the product and offers it for sale through the service.
Buyer (Second Party): The individual who places an order to purchase the product using the service.
Service Provider (Escrow Company) (Third Party): The entity that receives and temporarily holds the payment from the buyer, then releases it to the seller upon confirmation of receipt, or processes a resolution if a dispute arises.
Role of the Escrow Company:
The payment is held by the escrow company until the buyer confirms receipt of the product. After confirmation, or if the deadline passes without objection, the amount is automatically released to the seller.
Receipt and Disputes:
The buyer has a limited timeframe - as determined by escrow company terms and conditions - from the time of receiving the shipment to open a dispute. If no dispute is opened within this period, the product is considered received, and payment is automatically transferred to the seller.
Warranty and Disclaimer:
This service does not provide any warranty on the product. Returns are only possible if a verified issue is proven through official dispute process.
Data Sharing:
The user (buyer and seller) agrees to share their shipping and payment information with logistic and payment providers, as well as any other parties necessary to activate and deliver the service.
Haraj Platform Liability:
Haraj is not a party to the sale or to any dispute and bears no legal or financial responsibility for either, or the outcome of the transaction.
Dispute Resolution:
In the event of a dispute, it will be handled exclusively by the escrow company in accordance with its internal policies. Haraj does not intervene in dispute decisions or compensation. The dispute resolution team will communicate with both buyer and seller via messaging, phone calls, or online calls, and both parties are required to provide the requested documents within the timeframe specified.
Settlement:
The process of transferring funds begins after the transaction is successfully closed, within a maximum of seven (7) business days.
Service Fees:
The service is provided in exchange for clearly stated fees, which are displayed to the buyer before completing the payment.
Cancellation or Termination of Transaction:
