The difference between IP cameras and HD Analog cameras
🔹 IP Cameras:
Digital and operate over the network (LAN).
High resolution (from 2 to 12 megapixels).
Can be powered by a single network cable (PoE).
Supports artificial intelligence (face recognition, license plates...).
Easy to expand and access directly online.
Slightly more expensive but professional and suitable for modern projects.
🔹 HD Analog Cameras:
Analog and work with RG6 or RG59 cable.
Resolution from 1 to 8 megapixels.
Requires video cable + power.
Does not support artificial intelligence except in some types.
Easier to install and cheaper.
Suitable for small projects and homes.
💡 Conclusion:
If you are looking for a smart system and high quality, choose IP.
If you focus on cost and simplicity, choose HD Analog
