It's a surround sound headset that supports 7.1, and its microphone is legendary. Astro headsets are well-known and don't need an introduction. However, to be honest, it has a minor issue that doesn't affect its performance. It's a small problem that I've used the headset with for two years or more. The issue: The arm that holds the left earcup is missing a screw. I couldn't find a replacement to install. Sometimes the arm slips, and you need to reattach it. Reattaching it is easy; just insert the arm into the left earcup's slot. Once the left earcup is attached and you wear the headset, it's stable and doesn't affect performance.
