I have a 2020 Mazda CX-5 and I went for the periodic inspection and got rejected due to a crack in the windshield – the crack is located at the bottom of the glass above the chassis number and is about 60 cm long. Based on your experience, if I repair the glass, will I be able to pass the inspection? And if I replace the glass with a new one, how much does it cost between the dealer and regular workshops? I would appreciate your advice if you could. Of course, since the crack is not very obvious, I only noticed it after the inspection. Thank you.
