🔧 Job Report – Engine Harness Renewal
A 2008 Chevrolet Caprice is experiencing intermittent electrical issues due to damage to the engine harness, caused by heat and usage over time.
After inspection, it was found that several wires inside the harness were damaged, causing weak or intermittent signals to some sensors and injectors.
The work was carried out in several stages:
✔ Complete removal of the harness from the engine and thorough inspection of all wires
✔ Identification of damaged or weak wires within the harness
✔ Replacement of damaged wires with new wires of the same gauge and original specifications
✔ Reconnection of wires using soldering with tin to ensure a stable electrical connection
✔ Installation of complete heat shrink insulation on all connection points to protect the wires from engine heat and moisture
✔ Rearrangement and proper organization of the harness
✔ Complete wrapping of the harness with special insulation that withstands engine heat
The goal of the work is to restore the harness to a condition close to factory, ensuring correct electrical signals reach all sensors, injectors, and coils without interruption or weakness.
Many issues of misfiring, weak torque, or the check engine light appearing are caused by a worn-out harness, not the components themselves.
🔧 Inspection and repair of car harnesses and their professional renewal using complete heat insulation and high-quality materials are available.
