The Indian Jasmine or Plumeria plant is widely cultivated in tropical regions and is known by several names, including: Al-Fitnah - Indian Jasmine - Temple Tree - Tree of Life. They are semi-deciduous trees that grow up to seven meters tall and bloom during summer or autumn. The flowers emerge from the leaf axils and come in several colors, including white, yellowish-white, and reddish-pink. They have a beautiful aromatic scent and hold economic importance as they are used to make some medicinal compounds, perfumes, and foods for some peoples. They propagate through terminal cuttings.
