Tomorrow is the first of the Prophetic Sunnah days. The authentic hadith that indicates the preference for hijama is narrated by Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet ﷺ said: "The best of your treatments is hijama and al-Qist al-Bahri" [Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. In another narration by Ahmad: "The best of your treatments is hijama". This hadith is a basis for treatment with hijama, as it is one of the best and most suitable therapeutic treatments. Ibn al-Qayyim says in "Zad al-Ma'ad" that hijama is very beneficial in removing corrupted blood and alleviating health problems, and that it is one of the best things people have treated themselves with.
