A restaurant in Riyadh city is looking for a full-time accountant. The candidate must have experience in accounting systems specific to restaurants and cost management.
Job Duties:
* Accurately record daily entries and follow up on all financial transactions.
* Prepare periodic financial reports (daily / weekly / monthly).
* Manage and follow up on revenue and expense accounts.
* Work on the Foodics system and review sales and reports.
* Calculate and analyze food costs (Food Cost).
* Calculate and monitor labor costs (Labor Cost).
* Add and update actual and standard costs for items.
* Financially monitor inventory and ensure it matches reality.
* Conduct periodic inventory counts and analyze discrepancies.
* Update employee data and assign them to departments in the system.
* Contribute to waste control and improve operational efficiency.
* Coordinate with management and procurement to control costs.
* Familiarity with procurement tasks and supporting them when needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
* Previous experience in restaurant accounting (essential requirement).
* Practical experience with the Foodics system.
* Strong knowledge of cost accounting (Food Cost & Labor Cost).
* Proficiency in using Excel and accounting systems.
* High accuracy, honesty, and analytical ability.
* Ability to work under pressure.
