Installation Tips: It is always recommended to replace the brake pads and inspect the calipers and brake hoses when installing new rotors. Suspend the caliper on the suspension system using a special bracket to avoid damaging the brake hose. After removing the old rotor, clean the hub surface with a wire brush to remove rust, then apply a copper anti-seize compound to prevent future rust buildup. Apply brake grease to the caliper bolts, clips, pad abutment points, and the back of the pads to reduce noise. Do not apply grease to the pad friction surface. Use a caliper piston compression tool to retract the piston and make room for the new (thicker) pads. Open the brake fluid reservoir while compressing the piston to avoid over-pressurization, and monitor the brake fluid level to prevent overflow. After completing the installation, press the brake pedal several times to return the piston to its position and ensure proper brake function.
