Wideband UHF spectrum
The Deity Theos digital wireless microphone system features a wide UHF frequency band instead of the crowded 2.4 GHz band. The frequencies of this system range from 550 to 960 MHz. (The actual band size and frequency range vary depending on the selected region/group).
Wireless Timecode Sync
The Theos camera features a unique feature: the ability to wirelessly sync the transmitter with the Deity TC-1 timecode generator. Timecode ensures that backup WAV files are synced with the main file in post-production. This feature is extremely useful for filmmakers working with multiple cameras or devices, as it ensures that audio and video files are precisely synced, greatly simplifying the editing process. The DBTX can also be synced via the 3.5mm port if external timecode generators are used.
Remote Control via Sidus Audio App
The Deity Theos digital wireless microphone system features a unique feature that allows remote control of the transmitter and receiver via the Sidus Audio app. With this app, you can easily scan and assign frequencies, coordinate frequencies between multiple receivers, adjust audio levels, and remotely operate the backup audio recorder. This feature eliminates the need to physically handle the device, making it more convenient while working on set.
SMA Antenna Ports
Both the DBTX and D2RX are equipped with SMA antenna ports, allowing you to replace antennas for fine-tuning frequencies or to replace them if they are damaged. This feature makes transporting equipment more convenient in its bag, which is very useful when working on outdoor locations.
