Chevrolet Caprice LS 2014
Automatic
Caprice 2010 converted to 2014, fully inside and out.
8-cylinder engine, 6-speed transmission, taken from a 2013 Caprice.
The car I bought was a body with only interior and suspension parts. I installed the engine, transmission, exhaust, fuse box, radiator, control unit, and so on. In short, I installed the entire front end myself and paid a significant amount.
And the interior:
I don't know who worked on it for the previous owner, but I redid the electrical wiring, insulated its wiring at Shan, and installed a Denali compressor. Shan is well-known, no need to talk about his work, and he is meticulous. Those who know him know his prices.
The body:
Painted: front bumper, front fenders, rear bumper.
The rest has minor and simple flaws, and I've shown some of the light damage. All of it is light.
It needs some minor fixes: transmission mount, there's a clicking sound in the undercarriage, and it needs a full front suspension except for the shocks, as I replaced them with genuine parts. For the rear, I only replaced the axles, steering wheel clock spring, oil sensor, and programming. All of this is inexpensive. When I start it, there's a sound (it's not valve lifters, I've had it checked by several people, and I understand the sensor needs replacement). There's a slight oil leak, but I don't know exactly from where.
I use the car daily. It's been with me for a long time, and thankfully, it has no issues with overheating or breakdowns. But I've spent a lot on it, and I don't want to spend more. In short, I'm tired of it. The periodic inspection has expired. Transfer without periodic inspection. I've mentioned what I know, and the rest is up to inspection. May God grant us what is best.
