• Size: 145 cm length and 90 cm width. • Dominant Colors: Ivory/cream background with shades of honey dash;caramel, tobacco brown, copper, hints of light teal/turquoise and olive gray. Features Abrash (natural dye variation) giving a desirable antique feel. • Motifs and Composition: o Central quatrefoil medallion surrounded by floral arabesques. o Field filled with branching arabesque/islimi, Shah Abbasi gül, and boteh (Paisley) motifs. o Prominent presence of vase/jar motifs within the field, a common element in Kerman. • Probable Origin: Iran – Kerman (Lavar/Kerman) Mid-20th Century, circa 1950–1970. The earthy color palette with jars and islimi motifs strongly indicates this center. • Condition: Good to very good for its age: o Natural abrash/sheen due to pile direction. o Edges and fringes in good condition. • Best Use: Classic or eclectic spaces: medium-sized majlis/lounge, or a living room with woody/coppery tones. Harmonizes well with natural leathers, bronze, and ivory linen fabrics.
