Specialized Car Electrical Engineer Wanted (German Cars)

Technical Tasks and Responsibilities:
• System Analysis: Reading and analyzing complex wiring diagrams & schematics with high accuracy.
• Advanced Diagnostics: Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing faults in electronic control units (ECUs), including (DME, EGS, ABS, SRS, CAS/FEM/BDC).
• Module Programming & Coding: Updating firmware, coding new control units, and activating or deactivating features and functions (Retrofit & Conversions).
• Using Original Diagnostic Tools: Professional operation of OEM diagnostic systems such as: ISTA (BMW), XENTRY (Mercedes), ODIS (VAG), and PIWIS (Porsche).
• Networks and Communication Protocols: Diagnosing communication faults in advanced car networks (CAN Bus, LIN Bus, FlexRay, MOST, Ethernet).
• Adaptation: Adjusting and calibrating sensors, driver assistance systems (ADAS), infotainment systems, and smart lighting.
• Hybrid and Electric Systems (Added Advantage): Handling high voltage systems and hybrid batteries according to approved safety protocols.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
• Documented practical experience in the same field, specifically with German brands.
• Exceptional problem-solving and logical thinking skills to detect complex faults.
• Proficiency in English (reading and writing) for referring to technical manuals and engineering references.
• Complete commitment to accuracy and attention to detail to ensure repair quality.
• Excellent communication skills to simply explain faults and solutions to customers or management.
