Chaste Tree, also known as (Virgin's Finger) (Vitex Agnus Castus), is a deciduous shrub in winter belonging to the Verbenaceae family. Its height ranges from two and a half to four meters. Its leaves are compound, palm-shaped, consisting of five to seven leaflets. Its small flowers appear in fragrant clusters, white or blue in color. What distinguishes this plant is its tolerance to fluctuating climatic conditions and its resistance to drought and thirst. It can be planted individually or as a hedge. Its native habitat is the Mediterranean basin and Central Asia.
