Selling my Astro project due to leaving Saudi Arabia.
Bought in 2023 from a Saudi owner in Al Ahsa. We’ve used it for epic road trips across KSA including AlUla and into Oman. 280,892 km.
IMPORTANT – REGISTRATION

The van appears to be a Japanese import that was incorrectly registered many years ago. It is actually a 2002 Chevrolet Astro, but is currently registered as a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe.
Two sale options:
1. I complete MVPI/Fahas and transfer through Absher as normal. Buyer accepts the registration discrepancy.
2. Sold without plates/documents as a project or parts vehicle.

BODY & CONDITION
GRP body kit removed due to poor condition. Some fixing holes need filling. Minor damage to front wing/arch as shown in photos.
Starts and drives well in 2WD. Transfer case works correctly in 2HI, 4HI and 4LO.
Main remaining job is front axle setup/rebuild. Bearings were replaced but require adjustment and the axle binds when used in 4WD on tarmac.
Interior partially dismantled as part of camper conversion.
I’ve spent far more on this van than I’ll ever recover. Most parts were imported from the USA at considerable expense.
Very rare Astro and almost impossible to find another in Saudi Arabia with this level of work completed.
