Price: 200 1. General Pot Specifications and Design • Brand: Edison. • Outer Body: A mix of stainless steel (rust-resistant) and reinforced white plastic. • Display Screen: Digital (LED) screen showing the countdown for cooking and the pot's status. • Lid: Equipped with a large top handle for safe opening and closing, and a top safety valve for steam control. 2. Control Panel Button Details and Meanings The panel is designed to suit the Arabic kitchen and contains pre-set options (with one touch) for the most popular dishes: Buttons on the left side: • Rice: For cooking white or popular rice (Makhboos/Kabsa) with perfect timing. • Mataziz: A program for cooking Mataziz or Marqooq to ensure the dough and meat are cooked together. • Soup: For preparing various types of soups. • Hashi: A special program for camel meat or tough meats that require high pressure and longer time to become tender. Buttons in the middle (Control Buttons): • Keep Warm / Cancel: * One press cancels any running program. • If cooking finishes, the pot automatically switches to "Keep Warm" mode to maintain food temperature. • Preset Timer: To delay the start of cooking (e.g., set the pot now to start working after two hours). • (+ and -) buttons: To increase or decrease cooking time manually as desired. • Cake: Yes, you can bake cake inside the pot using low heat without strong steam pressure. • Slow Cook: For very slow cooking over long periods (like dishes that need to be simmered). Buttons on the right side: • Fish: Very short time as fish cooks quickly and cannot withstand long pressure. • Chicken: For cooking chicken (pressure cooked, chicken kabsa, or stew). • Meat: For medium lamb and veal meats. • Grape Leaves: A program that ensures grape leaves and rice are cooked slowly to become tender (melt-in-your-mouth). 3. Safe Usage Method (Very Important) The pot relies on trapped steam pressure. For complete safety, pay attention to the top valve (in the second image): 1. Before cooking (closing the pot): After adding food and closing the lid, ensure you rotate the top safety valve to the Lock/Sealing position to prevent air from escaping so that pressure builds up inside. 2. During cooking: The pot will start generating heat, and the screen timer will not start counting down until the pot is completely pressurized. 3. After cooking (opening the pot): * Warning: Never try to force open the lid when the pot is pressurized. • Carefully rotate the top valve (preferably use a wooden spoon or a towel to protect your hand) and direct it to the Exhaust/Venting position. • Wait until all steam is released and the small red button (pressure indicator) drops, then you can open the lid easily and safely. 4. Pot Care Tips • Lid Seal: Ensure the black or white rubber seal under the lid is clean and properly installed, as any defect will prevent the pot from sealing steam. • Cleaning: Wipe the pot's front panel (the control panel) with a damp cloth only and do not pour water directly on it to protect the electrical circuits. The inner pot (the bowl) should be washed normally, preferably using a soft sponge to preserve the coating.
