Manufacturing defect in 8-cylinder engines: mixing water with oil due to the oil pump and oil passage. This is addressed by changing the high-pressure oil pump and widening the oil and water circulation. Manufacturing defect in 6-cylinder engines: related to overheating and mixing water with oil due to the hoses at the back of the engine. This is addressed by widening the water passage, thoroughly checking the hoses, and pressure testing them at 400 psi to prevent mixing and overheating.
