Senior Automotive Parts Advisor & Data Analyst
Job Purpose:
The incumbent is responsible for managing and developing automotive parts supply operations, utilizing advanced data analysis and Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills to ensure the best prices and high-quality alternatives ($OEM$ and approved alternatives). They will also oversee building strategic partnerships with institutions and suppliers, concluding smart contracts, and analyzing market trends to improve inventory efficiency and reduce costs.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Managing and Developing Parts Systems: Professional handling of Inventory Management Systems and global electronic catalogs (Microcat,
PartsLink24 ).
• Advanced Data Analysis (Excel & AI): Building advanced reporting models using Advanced
Excel (e.g., Power
Query,
Macros,
VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) and using AI tools for big data analysis and Demand
Forecasting.
• Sourcing Alternatives and Price Analysis: Studying the market and different parts applications to compare original parts (OEM) and high-quality alternatives (Aftermarket) to ensure maximum savings without compromising quality.
• Procurement and Contract Conclusion: Managing relationships with parts companies and dealers and institutions, negotiating prices and payment terms, and drafting and concluding annual supply contracts to ensure supply sustainability.
• Market Study and Analysis: Monitoring local and global price trends, analyzing competitors, and exploring new supply channels to overcome supply chain issues.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply
Chain Management, or Data Engineering/IT with experience in the automotive sector.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in automotive parts (procurement, pricing, or sector data analysis).
Technical Skills:
Complete mastery of Excel at a very advanced level.
Good knowledge of AI applications and tools in data analysis and task automation.
Deep understanding of the mechanical structure of cars and the difference between parts categories (OEM,
OES,
Aftermarket)
Commercial and Personal Skills:
High ability for strategic negotiation and concluding contracts with companies.
Sharp analytical skills and the ability to interpret numbers and translate them into decisions.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple supplier relationships.
