Senior Automotive Parts Advisor
Overall Job Objective:
The incumbent manages and develops the supply and sales operations of automotive spare parts to ensure the best prices and high-quality alternatives. They also oversee building strategic partnerships with institutions and suppliers, concluding contracts, and monitoring market movements to ensure parts availability and reduce costs.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Spare Parts Systems Management: Professional handling of Inventory Management Systems and global electronic spare parts catalogs (e.g., Microcat, PartsLink24).
Alternative Sourcing and Price Comparison: Market research and various spare parts applications to compare Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts with high-quality aftermarket alternatives, ensuring excellent options at the best cost without compromising quality.
Procurement and Contract Negotiation: Building and managing relationships with spare parts companies and dealers, negotiating prices and payment terms, and concluding annual supply contracts to ensure supply sustainability.
Market and Competitor Monitoring: Tracking local and global price trends, exploring new supply channels, and providing quick solutions to meet customer demands and overcome supply chain challenges.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management.
Work Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the automotive spare parts sector (purchasing, sales, or pricing).
Technical and Commercial Skills:
Deep understanding of automotive mechanical structure and the differences between various spare parts categories (OEM, OES, Aftermarket).
Proficiency in using Office software and applications (specifically Excel) for managing quotes and daily orders.
High ability in strategic negotiation and concluding commercial contracts with suppliers and companies.
Excellent skills in evaluating commercial offers and making accurate purchasing and pricing decisions.
Ability to work under pressure, efficiently meet customer demands, and successfully manage multiple relationships.
