GRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) is an advanced structural and decorative material, primarily composed of a mixture of white or ordinary cement, pure silica sand, and alkali-resistant glass fibers. It is characterized by its light weight compared to ordinary concrete and its superior strength in compression and molding. [1, 2, 3] Basic Components of GRC Cement: High-quality white or ordinary cement is preferred to reduce permeability. Silica Sand: Pure and clean sand with a high silica content and fine grain size. Glass Fibers (Fiberglass): Must contain at least 16% zirconium oxide to resist alkalinity and rust within the cementitious environment. Water and Additives: Additives to improve cohesion and reduce water content to increase hardness.
