Nakashima Toki
Eggshell
1980s
Note: The summer offers end at the end of April 🔆 Hijri.
Coffee cups - produced by the ancient Japanese Nakashima family - Toki city.
Early 1980s.
They were salvaged from the remnants of our vintage store.
✨The secret to their preservation lies in the connection of Taif to royal summer resorts and state guests during that period.
Therefore, when you hear "Saudi coffee," know that you have reached the pinnacle of Arabic coffee ✨
6 artistic pieces preserved as a surviving set within their original box - a very special edition by Bin Shihon.
Material and Origin:
Luxurious eggshell porcelain, extremely thin and transparent, made from pure kaolin clay belonging to the roots of the historic Arita kilns in Japan.
Hand-painted design depicting the pink Magnolia flower, and behind its branches, the wind carries the blue mist coming from Mount Fuji..
With the use of gold leaf for framing and touches of gold as if they were falling leaves.
The luxurious handmade creations of the Nakashima family are very precious and rare, and not available, let alone coffee cups.
Luxurious size for formal majlis.
Top diameter: 6.5 cm
Height: 4.75 cm
Finally:
Old artisans poured their emotions and contemplations into creating artistic pieces that were not just vessels but spaces for contemplation, relying on virgin materials, clay, and local natural oxides. That generation has passed, and a new generation followed with technique and technology but lacking philosophical depth, spirit, and artistic taste.
Observe the last picture and compare the new shape with the old one.
And look at the astronomical price for a single cup.
Note:
The box originally held 12 coffee cups. 4 are missing, and 2 cups have minor chips on the upper rim. These will be included with the 6 sold cups. We have absolutely no others and did not keep even one for ourselves.
A rare offer for such authentic pieces
