Case and Bezel: Characterized by the iconic case made of hard "Tungsten Carbide", which comes in a shield shape. Rado pioneered this design in 1962 to introduce the world's first "scratch-resistant" watch.
Dial: Comes in the classic vertical design, with the word Rado written at 9 o'clock, and DiaStar at 3 o'clock, with crystal-set hour markers, and the famous rotating red and gold Rado anchor logo at 12 o'clock. There is also a vertical day and date display window at 6 o'clock.
Clasp: Engraved with the number 01770. This number is an original Rado part number for stainless steel clasps plated in gold.
Case Back: Engraved with the correct classic inscriptions for the original model: RADO, SCRATCHPROOF, and WATERSEALED.
