This book is considered a refinement and arrangement of the book "Al-Maghazi wa Al-Siyar" authored by Muhammad ibn Ishaq (Ibn Ishaq). Ibn Hisham revised the text, removing poems whose authenticity was not proven, Israelite stories, and matters not directly related to the Prophet ﷺ, to produce the book in its famous form that is in our hands today.
