A very old Saudi coin from the era of King Abdulaziz before the announcement of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. And the year 1344 AH approximately corresponds to 1925-1926 AD, a period when King Abdulaziz was titled "King of Hijaz and Sultan of Najd and its Dependencies" before the unification of the Kingdom in 1351 AH / 1932 AD. Therefore, the coin is today nearly 100 years old, and it is one of the first coins issued by King Abdulaziz after his entry into Hijaz, and thus it is considered one of the historical Saudi coins.
