My car is new but it got hit and cracked, so I changed it because the car is new. It is clear in front of you in the pictures, and the part is sound in every way and working, but the crack you see in front of you is present. There are definitely ways to fix it, but I didn't look into it, and the frustration of it being new made me order a new part.
