2 Employees Needed: Estimation Engineer Required Qualifications – Estimation Engineer specializing in the Wood and Furniture Industry We are looking for a professional Estimation Engineer with proven experience in furniture and wood manufacturing (Joinery & Wood Manufacturing) factories, responsible for accurately preparing and pricing projects according to technical drawings and specifications. Required Tasks and Skills: * Study Drawings & Specifications. * Prepare Quantity Take-Off. * Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ). * Prepare Project Cost Estimation. * Analyze the cost of raw materials and accessories. * Calculate operating, production, and labor costs. * Calculate the cost of finishes, paints, veneers, and accessories. * Prepare Technical & Commercial Quotations. * Compare supplier prices and select the best alternatives. * Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM). * Review engineering drawings and ensure their completeness before pricing. * Coordinate with procurement, production, sales, and technical office departments. * Calculate the Waste Factor for each type of material. * Prepare the cost of packaging, shipping, delivery, and installation as needed. * Analyze the cost of executed projects and compare them with the estimated cost to improve pricing accuracy. * Ability to price residential, commercial, hotel, office furniture, kitchens, doors, and wood cladding projects. Required Technical Knowledge: * Excellent knowledge of natural and industrial wood types (MDF – HDF – Plywood – Veneer – Solid Wood, etc.). * Knowledge of accessories such as Blum, Hafele, Hettich, etc. * Familiarity with manufacturing processes in wood factories. * Good knowledge of CNC machines, cutting saws, gluing machines, drilling, and assembly. * Ability to read and approve Shop Drawings and Manufacturing Drawings. Required Software: * Microsoft Excel (Professional). * AutoCAD. * ERP Systems (such as Odoo, SAP, or equivalent). * BOQ and pricing software. * Familiarity with SolidWorks, TopSolid Wood, or any specialized furniture software is preferred. Required Experience: * Minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing furniture and wood projects. * Experience in furniture factories or Joinery companies. * Ability to prepare accurate quotations for large projects. * Good knowledge of technical specifications, finishing materials, and local and international prices.
