Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
Orion 2009 Grandy, mileage 492 thousand. Body is original, except for three parts: the front left fender has some paint, the hood on the left side, a part near the headlight, and the trunk are original. There is a dent on the front right passenger door below, shown in the picture, and it has been repaired. There is a light scratch on the door behind it with the fender, light and not very noticeable, its picture is shown.
The engine had a timing chain tensioner issue, and the engine had to be removed to change it. The engine was muddy due to the neglect of its previous owner. I cleaned it, changed the set of bearings, the set of piston rings, and the complete gasket set. I also changed all the timing chain tensioners and the upper timing shaft pulleys, all original factory parts with invoices. It did not complain of overheating or oil consumption or anything. But since I had it disassembled for the tensioner, I decided to change everything and clean it. Now, thank God, its condition is good and it does not complain of anything.
For the transmission, I changed the external casing and the transmission connector that connects to the transmission control unit because there was a delay in Drive (D). I changed the casing and it was fixed. The connector's internal prongs were broken, so I replaced it. I did not disassemble the transmission at all. There is a problem with shifting to 4th gear and returning from 4th gear; it makes a slight noise and engages. This has been the case for a month. I drive it daily to Riyadh and back, and it has not complained of anything.
I changed the radiator a month ago. The one that was on it was small, so I changed it to a larger one. I also changed the thermostat and all the radiator hoses, and used original coolant. I changed the fan motor, both of them new. I cleaned the undercarriage a year and a half ago completely. However, I think it now needs a rear right shock absorber or a shock absorber mount because there is a rattling sound from the rear right. The axles need alignment; there is a slight vibration. It won't cost more than 800 riyals to get it aligned because its axles are good, but they are tilted. This is a flaw in the Orion with wear and tear, the axles become tilted. The rest, thank God, is fine, no leaks or anything. That's all that's wrong with it. The rest, thank God, it does not complain of anything at all.
The interior has been covered since I got it, and I have never removed it. I don't know the condition of the interior seats. I changed all the air conditioning vents. The dashboard is covered by its previous owner. Most of the interior accessories have been replaced. The glass is all original, except for the driver's side, which I think was replaced by its previous owner. The rest is original. These are the complete details of the car.
