Water Purification Filters Maintenance Replacement

A home water purification and desalination device with an **RO - 6 stage** reverse osmosis system, with a large white tank. What you see: On the right - the device itself: • 3 filters below: These are stages 1, 2, and 3 - to remove impurities, chlorine, taste, and odor. • The yellow filter above: This is the membrane - the most important stage, it's what purifies the water and removes salts. • The blue filter below it: Post-carbon filter / or mineral and salt filter. • There's a small pressure gauge on the left, which is excellent for knowing if the membrane is clogged. • The brand on it is Amira / Purena - a very common type in Saudi Arabia. On the left - the tank: • It's a pressure tank that stores purified water ready for use, usually with a capacity of 12-19 liters. • The blue tube connecting them is the tank line. Important note from the picture: The floor under the device has moisture and old water stains, and the tiles in front have discolored. This means there was a leak before, or there is a slow current leak. What to do now: 1. Dry the area well and make sure there is no dripping from the blue connections, especially at the tank and above at the small blue valve. 2. The tank looks old and dusty - if it's more than two years old, it's recommended to check its air pressure; it should be 7-10 PSI when empty. 3. Filter replacement: Stages 1-2-3 every 3-6 months, the yellow membrane approximately every two years depending on your usage and the salinity of your municipal water in Riyadh.
