🇸🇦 Two historical paper Riyals from the era of King Khalid bin Abdulaziz, may God have mercy on him.
From the memory of Saudi currency, two Riyals from the third issue, released in 1396 AH (1976 AD), bearing the image of King Faisal bin Abdulaziz, may God have mercy on him, in commemoration of his memory and appreciation of his status.
The obverse features Jabal al-Nour in Mecca Al-Mukarramah, while the reverse shows Dhahran Airport, with details documenting a part of the Kingdom's history and its most important landmarks.
The two pieces bear the marks of time and signs of circulation over the decades, and one of them features an old bank stamp, adding another detail to its historical journey.
Perhaps the most beautiful aspect of these collectibles is that they are not just old currencies, but carry memories of an era lived by fathers and grandfathers; they are suitable for the facade of a traditional diwaniya, or a special gift for a dear person who lived through that period, to relive some of the past's memories and its beautiful days.
A collectible that combines the fragrance of history and the beauty of Saudi heritage, and is suitable for collectors of old currencies and those interested in historical collectibles.
