Required: Business Development Manager Horizontal Directional Drilling Engineering / Marketing Specialist
Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Bokwan Engineering Construction Co. Ltd. (KSA Branch) announces its need for specialized engineering cadres in Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) as part of its business expansion. Key responsibilities include developing the client base, following up on projects, and communicating with companies in the Saudi market.
Job Requirements:
1. Educational Qualifications
- Diploma or higher, preferably a Bachelor's degree;
- Specialization in Civil Engineering, Municipal Engineering, Water and Wastewater Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Project Management, or related fields is preferred.
2. Language Requirements
- Proficiency in English as a working language;
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients in English via phone, WhatsApp, email, and in-person interviews;
- Proficiency in Arabic is an added advantage, but not a primary requirement.
3. Field Experience
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in one of the following fields:
- Horizontal Directional Drilling/Trenchless Engineering;
- Power and Cable Networks and Underground Power Networks;
- Telecommunication Networks, Fiber Optic Networks, and Telecommunication Pipelines;
- Water Supply and Wastewater Networks;
- Oil and Gas Pipelines;
- Municipal Infrastructure;
- Pipe Jacking, Microtunneling, and Underground Pipeline Engineering;
- Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) companies or infrastructure contractors.
4. Commercial Skills
- Proactive search for potential clients and project information;
- Developing the client base through Google, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, specialized websites, tender information, and site visits;
- Identifying general contractors, EPC contractors, subcontractors, pipeline construction companies, and project managers;
- Following up on inquiries, quotations, site surveys, commercial negotiations, and project execution;
- Priority will be given to candidates with relationships with local engineering clients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
5. Engineering Fundamentals
- Ability to understand basic engineering drawings, bills of quantities, requests for quotations, and technical project documentation;
- Basic understanding of fundamental engineering conditions such as pipe diameter, construction length, geological conditions, underground pipelines, and construction site requirements;
- While operating HDD equipment is not required, a strong engineering understanding and ability to learn are essential.
